Study data. Your bookmarks, personal notes, and reading progress are stored so they persist across sessions. This data is tied to your account and is not shared with anyone.

Chat conversations. When you use Chitta Chat, your questions are processed in real time and not stored. We do not use your questions to train any models.

Payment information. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or banking details. Lemon Squeezy handles all payment data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Usage data. We may collect basic analytics such as page views and feature usage to understand how people use Chitta and where we can improve. This data is aggregated and not tied to your identity.

Third-party services

Chitta uses a small number of third-party services to operate, including payment processing and language model providers. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
